Travel in life is like engine oil in a car.

The dreamlike itinerary of 16 nights and 17 days in Italy and Switzerland has come to an end.

In that short period of more than two weeks but less than a month, there were many twists and turns, and even a big incident occurred on the second day, so I wondered whether I should give up on the trip and return to Korea. In fact, it was not an easy journey. Fortunately, I completed my schedule and am writing this after returning safely, so I can't help but be happy.

It is said that travel in life is like engine oil. You need to change the oil occasionally while driving your car, but if you neglect it because you don't have time, it will inevitably lead to a major breakdown. It's time to look back and see if you're running without looking ahead and don't have time to put in gas or if you're not changing engine oil.

When I went there, I saw that people of all ages and genders were enjoying the trip. It was especially impressive to see an elderly couple using a wheelchair and walking with a cane having a great time on their journey. In any case, there were many travelers here and there who were spending their lives there, feeling 100% that they were in charge of that time. It felt like all the Romans at home were coming out and basking in the sun.

Although it was a short time, looking at their time made me reflect on myself for not being more active. Here, it is safe to say that being proactive means focusing on external activities. I felt that I needed to travel more diligently and lead an active daily life from now on, so I was confident that it would make a big difference in my future life journey.

Did they say all roads lead to Rome?

Even if the path of my life does not necessarily lead to Rome, I think that if I stand on the path I am making, Rome will be that place and that will be my life. If you want to spend enough time with your life before it's too late, let's go on a trip right now. If I had a companion, it would be the best gift of my life.
